Dr. Brickman is a proud local and graduate of Edwardsville High School, Class of 1988. With a lifelong commitment to excellence in orthodontic care, he brings both expertise and personal connection to the community he serves. Known for his integrity, professionalism, and patient-first approach, Dr. Brickman is passionate about creating confident, healthy smiles for patients of all ages.

Dr. Brickman earned his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from the University of Illinois in 1992. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree with honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1996.
He was then selected as one of only four residents accepted into the University of Oklahoma’s orthodontic residency program, where he earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Orthodontics with high honors. His master’s thesis was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, with subsequent research appearing in two additional orthodontic journals.
Dr. Brickman is Board Certified and holds the distinction of being a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, an honor awarded to fewer than one quarter of all orthodontists in the United States. He has contributed to the field through published research, including his master’s thesis article featured in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, along with additional studies published in two other orthodontic journals.
He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, Illinois Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Brickman also served as President of the Madison District Dental Society, reflecting his ongoing leadership and commitment to advancing the profession of orthodontics.
Dr. Brickman is an active supporter of the local community. He participates in and supports organizations including the Edwardsville YMCA, EdGlen Chamber of Commerce, and the Alton River Bend Growth Association. He also sponsors local many youth sports teams and school programs throughout Edwardsville and Alton.
In his free time, Dr. Brickman enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He’s an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys playing golf, traveling, and attending as many sporting events as possible with his family.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I had an amazing experience at Brickman Orthodontics today! I went in to pick up my Invisalign, and Lizzie was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, patient, professional, and very thorough. She explained everything step-by-step and made sure I fully understood how to wear and care for my Invisalign and how to properly care for my teeth throughout the process.I really appreciated how Lizzie took her time and made sure I felt comfortable and confident before leaving. Dr. Brickman and his entire staff are amazing! My family has spent a lot of time with them and have nothing but great things to say!I would like to take time to especially mention the front desk staff, they always go out of their way to make sure I (and my entire family) feel seen and cared about. They go out of their way for patients and treat them like family! It really makes a difference in the patient experience! I would never choose a different orthodontist.
